Company Profile
History
Isolara was formed in 2003 with the idea that properly installed renewable energy systems could help reduce the effects of Climate Change and Global Warming. Founded by Warren Abar, a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, the company was among the first to provide engineered solar thermal and solar electric solutions to customers in Eastern Ontario.
Key Achievements
In its first seven years of operation, Isolara celebrated several key achievements including the completion of over 100 solar electric and solar thermal installations and the displacement of more than 300 tonnes of green house gases. Continually recognized as one of the Top 10 custom solar integrators in Canada, Isolara has successfully completed over $2M worth of installations to date. In the final months of 2009, Isolara was awarded several 10 kW Solar PV projects. As a result, the company currently boasts one of the largest installed bases of rural microFit projects in Eastern Ontario.
Future Plans
By growing its operations in step with the opportunities created by Ontario’s Feed-In-Tariff program, Isolara plans to maintain its place among the Top 10 solar integrators in Canada in 2010 and beyond. In order to remain a leader in the solar industry, Isolara will continue to focus on engineering and design innovations that ensure our customers receive the absolute best in systems and service. Isolara has always retained the people, suppliers, processes and equipment needed to deliver on its promises and will continue to seek out whatever best-in-class resources are required for future success. Isolara installations will echo the company’s commitment to long-term viability, usability and durability by way of their construction from only the highest quality components available. By designing systems with low or almost no associated maintenance costs, Isolara will continue to help customers maximize the return on their solar investments.
